Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with other medical practitioners, and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health
- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
- Advise patients on health care
- Report births, deaths, contagious and other diseases to government authorities
- Be the patient advocate
- Co-ordinate or manage primary patient care
- Provide acute care management
- Provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues
- Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure.
