About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team at Heidelberg Materials. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our heavy mobile equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lubricate and perform scheduled repairs of equipment to achieve maximum performance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with heavy equipment.
  • Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer standards and specifications.
  • Test mechanical products and equipment after repair to ensure proper performance.
  • Perform other maintenance duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Valid Interprovincial or Red Seal Journeyman ticket.
  • 2 years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in servicing transmissions, rear ends, and electrical systems.
  • Understanding of DOT inspection requirements.
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office.
  • Experience with formal maintenance programs.
