We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Procurement Director to lead our procurement function. The Procurement Director will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing relationships with suppliers, optimizing procurement processes, and driving strategic initiatives to support the company's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and communicate procurement strategies, policies, and procedures in alignment with the company's objectives.
- Oversee the procurement process, including supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, and relationship management.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement initiatives to optimize procurement expenses while maintaining product quality and service levels.
- Procure goods and services in accordance with the company's needs and priorities.
- Utilize data analysis tools to analyze procurement trends, track key performance indicators, and generate reports for management review and decision-making.
- Identify and mitigate procurement risks, such as supplier instability and price changes.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance, providing information and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a leadership role in the software industry. Experience in managing third-party risk is an asset.
- A proven track record of developing and implementing successful procurement strategies, achieving cost savings, and improving operational efficiency.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with experience in managing relationships with suppliers.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and market trends to inform procurement decisions.
