Job Overview:
As a vital member of our bar team at Marriott International, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional drink experiences for our guests. Your role will encompass a variety of tasks that ensure our bar operates smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare beverage orders for patrons following precise recipes and utilizing measuring tools.
- Open and serve wine and champagne bottles with care and professionalism.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including tables and equipment.
- Prepare fresh garnishes to enhance drink presentations.
- Ensure the bar is well-stocked with ice, glassware, and necessary supplies.
- Transport supplies to the bar setup area as needed.
- Clean and sanitize used glassware to uphold health standards.
- Clear soiled items from the bar and tables, placing them in designated areas for cleaning.
- Proactively communicate supply needs to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Process various payment methods accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct end-of-shift cash counts, complete required reports, and resolve any discrepancies.
- Safeguard all liquor, beer, wine, and storage areas.
- Complete closing tasks to prepare for the next service period.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a related role.
- Supervisory Experience: Not required.
- Licenses/Certifications: None required.
