Position Overview

AquaPani is seeking a dedicated Civil Engineering Technician to join our team. This role involves a variety of responsibilities that contribute to our engineering projects and initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a College or CEGEP program in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a relevant position.
Work Environment
  • Relocation costs will be covered by the employer.
  • Candidates must be willing to relocate as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret blueprints to ascertain dimensions and material requirements for structures or systems.
  • Assist in the formulation of engineering specifications and technical drawings.
  • Engage in field surveys, inspections, and technical assessments.
  • Prepare construction specifications, cost estimates, and material requirements.
  • Develop engineering designs and detailed drawings.
  • Create project timelines and schedules.
  • Oversee or conduct field surveys, inspections, and testing of construction materials.
  • Provide expert consultation services to governmental bodies and other organizations.
Technical Proficiencies
  • Proficient in CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) tools.
  • Experience with 3D graphic software and AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Knowledge of Autodesk REVIT.
Areas of Expertise
  • Experience in civil engineering projects involving buildings, drainage systems, pipelines, and sewage treatment facilities.
  • Specialized skills in environmental protection and water resource management.
  • Expertise in construction design and supervision, land planning, and development.
