Position Overview

We seek a seasoned developer with substantial technical knowledge who can effectively guide and support their team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop essential solutions to address critical business challenges faced by clients
  • Convert functional requirements into detailed technical specifications
  • Provide ongoing constructive feedback to team members
  • Share your expertise through thorough analysis, estimations, reviews, and audits
  • Mentor colleagues to foster their professional development
  • Proactively take charge of projects and tasks
  • Maintain and reinforce software development standards
  • Investigate, test, and implement innovative techniques and technologies
  • Offer advice and consultation to clients regarding technical decisions and strategic direction.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Possesses over 8 years of experience as a software developer or engineer, with at least 3 recent years in contemporary programming languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and/or Java
  • Has a minimum of 2 years of experience leading a team of software developers in a professional environment
  • Holds a Master's degree, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent qualification in a software-related discipline
  • Is bilingual in French and English.
Required Proficiencies
  • Comprehensive knowledge of full-stack web development
  • Familiarity with Development Methodologies (Agile, Scrum, XP, Kanban, Shape Up, etc.)
  • Experience in Application Testing (unit, functional, E2E, etc.)
  • Proficient in CI/CD Pipelines
  • Understanding of Domain-Driven Design
  • Experience with at least one major modern client-side framework/library such as AngularJS, ReactJS, or Svelte.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud-hosting platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Virtualization and Containerization
  • Familiarity with mobile development
  • Understanding of In-Memory object storage, caching, and queue systems
  • Experience with Microservices and Serverless Systems
  • Knowledge of Hexagonal Architecture.
