About the Role

Mercadeo Interactivo GCR, S.A. de C.V. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of outstanding business results and fostering excellence in data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Apply advanced statistical analysis and modeling techniques to support complex business requirements, driving data-driven insights and recommendations.
  2. Perform complex data queries and analysis to support business needs, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of insights.
  3. Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using advanced data visualization tools, providing stakeholders with actionable insights.
  4. Implement quality improvement initiatives for data accuracy, ensuring data discipline and compliance protocols are followed.
  5. Provide methodological guidance and support to stakeholders on data analysis, ensuring data-driven decision making.
  6. Conduct advanced data analysis and prepare detailed reports, presenting findings to various audiences.
  7. Build and contribute to databases, data pipelines, and dashboards, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  8. Ensure data governance, quality assurance, and compliance protocols are followed, maintaining a high level of data quality.
  9. Seek external data sources and analyze them, providing stakeholders with new insights and recommendations.
  10. Recommend solutions or process improvements through data analysis, driving business growth and excellence.

Requirements

  1. University degree in a relevant field such as business analytics, statistics, or computer science.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field, with a strong background in data analysis and business intelligence.
  3. Experience with SQL and data analysis tools, with a strong understanding of data modeling and programming.
  4. Proficiency in data visualization tools, with a strong ability to design and develop interactive dashboards and reports.
  5. Experience with large relational databases, with a strong understanding of data governance and compliance protocols.
  6. Direct experience in data modeling and programming, with a strong ability to analyze complex data sets.
  7. Knowledge of relevant business legislation and regulations, with a strong understanding of data privacy and security.
  8. Familiarity with business terminology and concepts, with a strong ability to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.
  9. Commitment to ongoing learning and staying ahead of technological changes, with a strong desire to continuously improve data analysis skills.
