The Faculty of Arts & Science is inviting applications for anticipated course offerings in the upcoming academic terms:
Course: DIGF-3008: Atelier III: Investigation (1.0 credit)
COURSE OVERVIEW: This studio-seminar course allows students to enhance their analytical and problem-solving abilities within a collaborative research-driven environment, facilitated by faculty and industry collaborators. Atelier III: Investigation is structured around a central theme, developed annually through a collaborative retreat involving faculty and students. Engagement with industry partners is integral to the course, supporting student-led projects. Completion of Atelier III: Investigation is required before enrolling in Atelier IV: Synthesis.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A terminal degree in art, design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Teaching experience at the post-secondary level is preferred; however, relevant experience will also be considered.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven leadership abilities and a commitment to fostering a respectful and inclusive environment for students, staff, and faculty.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Sessional appointments are fixed-term contracts. Compensation is based on a per-course pay scale, with a salary of $6, per 0.5 credit course, plus 7% in lieu of benefits and vacation pay, in accordance with the Employment Standards Act. These positions are contingent upon budgetary approval and adequate enrollment levels.
