About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at KP Food Service Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sanitation and Cleaning: Ensure all dishes, utensils, and equipment are sanitized and washed by hand.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet our high standards.
  • Inventory Management: Stock refrigerators and salad bars with fresh supplies.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Supply Receiving: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash in a timely manner.
  • Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Food Handling: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit for preparation.
  • Work Term and Hours: This is a permanent position with 32 to 35 hours of work per week.
  • Language and Communication: English is the primary language used in the workplace.
