Essential Skills:

  • Mechanical Skills: Ability to inspect, repair, and maintain various equipment utilized in the oil and gas sector, including pumps and compressors.
  • Electrical Skills: Proficient in troubleshooting and maintaining electrical systems to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Instrumentation Expertise: Capable of calibrating and maintaining process control systems.
  • Pipefitting and Welding: Skilled in installing and modifying pipelines and equipment with a focus on safety and quality.
  • Rigging and Scaffolding: Experience in safely moving heavy equipment and providing access for maintenance tasks.
  • Confined Space Operations: Competent in performing tasks in enclosed spaces while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Safety Compliance: Strong understanding of industry safety standards to maintain a secure work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in shutdown or turnaround projects is advantageous.
  • Valid safety certifications (e.g., H2S Alive, CSTS, Fall Protection, Confined Space, First Aid with CPR).
  • Willingness to work in confined spaces as required.
  • Experience with industrial vacuum trucks and high-pressure systems is a plus.
  • Background in labor-intensive roles.
  • Ability to travel for extended periods and work outdoors for shifts exceeding 10 hours, including nights.
