Are you an experienced accountant eager to contribute positively to Indigenous communities throughout Canada? Join our inclusive team at MNP, a prominent national accounting and consulting firm dedicated to Indigenous Services. Our professionals are focused on meeting clients' distinct requirements and fostering impactful transformations in the financial and business reporting sectors.
- Execute compilation, review, audit, bookkeeping, and tax services for Indigenous clientele
- Evaluate and ensure the adequacy of audit evidence concerning expenses, revenues, capital asset acquisitions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and prepaid expenses
- Establish strong working relationships with clients while guiding and mentoring junior staff members
- Engage in business development efforts and identify potential new opportunities
Qualifications and Expertise
- Common Final Exam or CPA designation is mandatory
- 2 to 4 years of experience in public accounting
- In-depth understanding of GAAP, SEC, and IFRS standards
- Experience collaborating with Indigenous communities is advantageous
