About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at CEFA Early Learning Victoria - Douglas. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development and Implementation
    • Assist in planning and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
    • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver engaging activities and experiences
  • Child Care and Support
    • Provide individualized care and attention to children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met
    • Assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and harmonious environment
    • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
  • Record Keeping and Administration
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's progress and development
    • Assist with administrative tasks, such as preparing reports and submitting documentation
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1) certification
  • Work Experience
    • Previous experience in early childhood education or a related field
