Position Overview

As a Home Support Worker at Daniel Putnam, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients in their own homes. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of personal care tasks aimed at supporting the elderly and ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months of relevant experience is preferred.
Work Environment
  • Predominantly in rural settings and clients' residences.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide bedside and personal care to clients.
  • Administer prescribed medications and assist with personal hygiene tasks.
  • Support clients in maintaining their physical health through regular exercise.
  • Change non-sterile dressings as needed.
  • Assist new parents with infant care techniques.
  • Manage laundry and household cleaning tasks.
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals tailored to therapeutic diets.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Shop for necessary food and household supplies.
