Rural Clerk Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Clerk to join our team in a rural area. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the Store Manager in achieving sales and customer satisfaction goals.

• Provide outstanding customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including stocking shelves, facing merchandise, and performing housekeeping duties as required.
• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales and customer satisfaction goals, including operating cash registers, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
• Perform receiving duties, including unloading and stocking merchandise, and operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe and responsible manner.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including counting tills, reconciling inventory, and securing the store.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to improve product knowledge and merchandising techniques.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve store goals and objectives.

• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• Have or be willing to obtain Serve It Right Saskatchewan certification.
• Must possess sufficient knowledge and experience of merchandise handled to effectively operate the section(s) assigned.
• Must be familiar with all lines of merchandise handled by the site.
• Must be strongly service-oriented and motivated, and be capable of assisting customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Be prepared to increase product knowledge and improve merchandising techniques through special courses, product clinics, and seminars.
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision and direction.
• Physical ability to handle the work to be assigned.
• Must be able to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
