- Develop, implement, and assess an effective forecasting strategy, taking into account global macroeconomic trends, regional variations, climatic conditions, and profit margin considerations.
- Maintain competitive pricing structures while ensuring a balance between supply levels, retail demand, and working capital requirements.
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Crop Protection and Seed to establish annual targets for sales, profit margins, and inventory management.
- Cultivate and sustain relationships with suppliers and retail partners through effective communication and teamwork.
- Anticipate approximately 10% travel on an annual basis.

The Team: You will engage closely with FCL Supply Chain, Marketing, and Accounting teams, as well as local cooperatives, reporting directly to the Manager of Category Development. This team is dedicated to fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and independence.
Importance of the Role:
Our Agro team plays a vital role in supporting and enhancing the growth of Western Canadian communities by sourcing and distributing essential products and services to local cooperatives in the feed, crop supplies, and fertilizer sectors.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
You are pursuing a career in Sales & Marketing and possess:
- 6 to 9 years of progressively responsible experience in agricultural sales, procurement, or marketing, with a preference for expertise in Crop Protection and Seed sales or distribution.
- A degree in agriculture or business (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
- Professional certifications such as PAg and CCA are advantageous.
