About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team at ParaMed Home Health Care. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in their homes, enabling them to live safely and independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily tasks and self-care activities, promoting their overall well-being and independence.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Assist with personal hygiene care, including showering and bathing, and support clients with basic activities of daily living.
  • Prepare meals and assist with meal-time, ensuring clients receive nutritious and enjoyable meals.
  • Perform basic housekeeping duties, maintaining a clean and safe living environment for clients.

Requirements:

  • Compassion and listening skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families.
  • Passion for making a difference in the lives of others, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle, with the ability to travel to client homes within a designated area.
  • Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
