Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a Co-op Student to join our team and contribute to the development of new products, engineering, and manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will work closely with our Project Engineer to assist with projects related to product development, engineering, and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Engineer with projects related to product development, engineering, and manufacturing processes.
  • Work on drawings, including updating existing plant layouts and technical drawings related to specific projects and equipment.
  • Help with engineering and process projects related to the improvement of the manufacturing area.
  • Assist with the installation of equipment related to new product start-up.
  • Contribute to line efficiency and improvement projects.
  • Input into project layout and design.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to all applicable job procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with GMPs and Health and Safety rules.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
  • Understanding of processes related to manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project.
