Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Preparation

Direct and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient and safe food preparation and service.

Estimate Food and Supplies

Accurately estimate the quantity of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory.

Maintain Records and Reports

Keep accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control decisions.

Prepare Food Order Summaries

Compile and present detailed summaries of food orders for the chef to ensure accurate and timely preparation.

Supervise Tray Assembly

Oversee the assembly of trays to ensure presentation and quality standards are met.

Establish Work Schedules

Develop and implement work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and efficient operations.
