Position Overview

As a vital member of Paul's Bakery Ltd., the Baking Specialist will play a crucial role in our culinary operations. This position requires a passion for baking and a commitment to quality.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school is mandatory.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare various doughs for an assortment of baked goods including breads, pastries, and desserts according to established recipes or specific customer requests.
  • Manage inventory by requisitioning or ordering necessary materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Oversee the baking process for mixed doughs and batters, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Provide training to staff on food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling practices.
  • Supervise the baking team and kitchen personnel to maintain a productive work environment.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand.
  • Ensure all products meet the quality standards set by the bakery.
  • Conduct inspections of kitchen and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and organization.
  • Operate baking machinery and maintain equipment in good working condition.
  • Manage the sales and merchandising of baked goods to enhance customer experience.
  • Prepare special dishes for customers with dietary restrictions or allergies.
