Job Summary

Border Bean International Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Technician to join our team. As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and present financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as QuickBooks.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Familiarity with scanners and other office equipment.
  • Transportation and Travel: Public transportation is not available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, excellent oral and written communication skills, organized, reliable, team player, and time management skills.
  • Health Benefits: Dental plan and health care plan available.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education.
