Senior Solution Architect Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to lead our digital solution architecture for enterprise projects and mentor agile teams within the public sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead solution architecture for complex enterprise projects, ensuring scalability and resilience
  • Advise stakeholders and decision-makers on technical options and strategies
  • Convey technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Mentor and lead teams in adopting and following agile principles, policies, and procedures
  • Design and implement solutions leveraging cloud services such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
  • Oversee the software development lifecycle for various projects
  • Work with open source ecosystems, including and NPM
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience leading Solution Architecture
  • 2 years of experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • 5 years of experience working as a software architect on complex software solutions in an agile team environment
  • 5 years of experience working with open source ecosystems such as
  • 5 years public sector experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
Nice to Have:
  • 2 years of experience implementing DevSecOps in an enterprise environment
  • 5 years of experience working as an application architect designing or maintaining solutions using the development stack and derivative technologies (e.g., Microsoft.Net, Java, Python)
  • 2 years of experience working with teams that apply UX design, service design, design thinking, or human-centered design approaches
  • 4 years of experience leading domain modeling and database schema design for transactional and reporting systems
  • 4 years of experience working with other architects and/or as part of cross-functional teams to identify efficiencies through common services, reusable components, and APIs
