About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Aman Meat Shop. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting meats to meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare meats for processing and cutting
  • Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters to meet customer specifications
  • Trim and prepare standard cuts of meat for sale
  • Wrap and package prepared meats for display
  • Remove bones from meat and weigh meats for sale
  • Cut poultry into parts and price meat products
  • Clean and prepare fish and shellfish for sale
  • Sell meats to customers and provide excellent customer service
  • Cut fish into steaks and fillets and grind meats as needed
  • Train new team members on meat cutting and preparation techniques
Work Environment

As a Meat Cutter at Aman Meat Shop, you will work in a fast-paced retail environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a cold/refrigerated environment.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and work in a cold/refrigerated environment
