About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Louisa Olowu Ewela Tosan. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Meal Preparation: Cook nutritious meals for clients and assist with feeding.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with light administrative tasks, such as managing medication schedules and keeping track of appointments.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Bini and Edo languages is an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Personal Qualities: Punctuality, client focus, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, reliability, team player, patience, and honesty.
