We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Shop Technician. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, and repairing diesel powered generators and diesel pumps, as well as electric submersible pumps of various voltages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and service diesel powered generators and diesel pumps, as well as electric submersible pumps of various voltages.
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work.
  • Maintain documentation of inspections, maintenance, and work orders in a complete and timely manner.
  • Service generators and pumps on customer jobsites.
  • Provide a high standard of customer service in all interactions with customers.
  • Adhere to company Health and Safety Policies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of related mechanical experience, working on generators is an asset.
  • Thorough knowledge of electrical systems and components and diesel engines is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of computer applications and diagnostic tools.
  • Relevant trade certificate would be an asset, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Valid G driver's license with clean or satisfactory driver's abstract (no more than 3 demerit points).
  • Must have a complete set of tools (or working on obtaining a complete set of tools).
  • Must be available to work overtime as required, and to work on an on-call rotation.
