Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Compass Group Canada.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef
- Supervise and check assembly of trays
- Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
- Establish work schedules
- 3-4 years of experience in a food service environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
