Job Summary

The Logistics Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of the organization, ensuring the efficient and effective management of our warehouse and production units. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management, inventory control, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Logistics
    • Compile and analyze data to optimize warehouse operations and improve productivity.
    • Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
    • Oversee the coordination of activities with warehouse and production units.
  • Inventory Management
    • Develop and implement inventory control systems to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
    • Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demands.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and train a team of 5-10 employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
    • Provide coaching and feedback to employees to improve performance and productivity.
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Prepare and submit regular reports to management on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and team performance.
    • Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience
    • 1-2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Skills
    • Strong understanding of supply chain management, inventory control, and team leadership.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
