Bakery Specialist

WTG Bakery Incorporated is seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts.
Responsibilities:- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Bake mixed dough and batters.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Prepare special orders.
- Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff.
- Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
- Draw up production schedules.
- Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas.
- Operate machinery.
- Organize and maintain inventory.
- Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods.
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Manual dexterity.
- Physically demanding.
- Repetitive tasks.
- Standing for extended periods.
- Tight deadlines.
- Work under pressure.
WTG Bakery Incorporated is a dynamic and fast-paced bakery environment. As a Bakery Specialist, you will be working in a bakery setting, preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.
