As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for hauling various bulk commodity materials, conducting pre-operational checks on equipment, and operating loading and unloading equipment as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Haul various bulk commodity materials safely and efficiently
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Operate loading and unloading equipment as required to meet customer needs
  • Adhere to daily schedules set out by Dispatch and Supervision to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Complete daily paperwork and reporting accurately and on time to ensure compliance with company policies
  • Promote a safe working culture and adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies to ensure a safe working environment
  • Maintain a clean and organized truck to ensure a safe and efficient working environment

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in on/off highway driving
  • Must hold a valid Class 1 license
  • Availability to work rotational shifts, including days and nights
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol clearance
  • Solid communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to navigate work sites and adapt to daily changes in scopes of work
  • Acceptable driver's abstract
