Join Our Team as a Quantitative Investment Portfolio Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantitative Investment Portfolio Manager to join our team at National Bank Investments. As a key member of our portfolio management team, you will be responsible for contributing to the daily portfolio management processes and making significant contributions to the research and development of quantitative/systematic investment strategies.

Your Role:
  • Contribute to the daily portfolio management routine/activities
  • Act as a catalyst for the research and development of quantitative/systematic investment strategies
  • Participate in the technological evolution of the team's trading tools
  • Bring new proposals on various projects

Prerequisites:
  • Experience in quantitative portfolio management, including a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation and at least 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in portfolio management
  • Quantitative experience, including a completed bachelor's or master's degree in financial engineering, actuarial science, or a related field
  • Practical experience in finance/trading-oriented programming, including Java, Python, or VBA programming skills and knowledge of programming support tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket
  • Interest in systematic portfolio management applied to different asset classes, including stocks, bonds, futures, options, and currencies
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with agility and strong analytical skills
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively and present information in layman's terms, with excellent leadership and communication skills
