Job Summary:

Axelon Services Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our team. As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated test scripts using programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks to ensure efficient and effective testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and product management, to identify and prioritize testing needs
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough testing of software applications
  • Identify and report defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues
  • Develop and maintain test data, including test scripts, test cases, and test environments
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our testing processes remain current and effective

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation testing
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#
  • Experience with test automation frameworks, such as Selenium or Appium
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles and testing methodologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud-based testing tools and platforms
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies and practices
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
