About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician Assistant to join our team at Barlow Electrical Services Ltd. As an Electrical Technician Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our electrical tradespersons and apprentices in various tasks and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist electrical tradespersons and apprentices with tool handling, equipment movement, and material transportation.
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Provide support to tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed, contributing to the smooth execution of projects.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Work Environment

As an Electrical Technician Assistant, you will work in various settings, including outdoors and confined spaces. You will be exposed to dangerous, noisy, dusty, and odorous environments, requiring you to be physically fit and able to handle heavy loads.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train on the job.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Handling heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
