Position Overview

As a Grill Chef at JC'S BANQUET & GRILL HOUSE, you will play a vital role in our culinary team, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate operating costs and analyze relevant data to optimize kitchen efficiency.
  • Guide and mentor cooks in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of dishes.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals and specialty items for events, including banquets.
  • Oversee kitchen staff and ensure smooth operation of the kitchen.
  • Manage the preparation and cooking of meals or specialty dishes.
  • Order food and kitchen supplies as needed to maintain inventory.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a work schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
