Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Caregiver to join our team at Hermenegildo Garcia. As a Family Caregiver, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Household Management: Maintain a clean and safe living environment, including laundry, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering clients' dietary needs and preferences.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Availability: Availability to work 30-40 hours per week.
Work Environment

As a Family Caregiver, you will work in the employer's/client's home, providing care and support in a comfortable and familiar environment.
