We are seeking a dedicated Concrete Finishing Specialist to join our team at 2705517 ONTARIO INC. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in concrete finishing and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in concrete finishing
Key Responsibilities
  • Fill hollows and eliminate imperfections on freshly poured concrete.
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for concrete projects.
  • Utilize power vibrators to ensure proper compaction of concrete.
  • Level the top surface of concrete in accordance with grade and depth specifications.
  • Work safely at heights, utilizing scaffolding or swing stages.
  • Apply desired finishes to concrete surfaces using both hand and power tools.
  • Provide instruction and guidance to apprentices.
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures as required.
  • Apply hardening and sealing agents to cure concrete surfaces effectively.
  • Waterproof, damp proof, and restore concrete surfaces as necessary.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace damaged sections of concrete structures.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects accurately.
  • Operate CADD and other relevant computer software systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
