About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at A&W. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and order supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and work areas, and adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent culinary skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
