BUI Educator

Bait-ul Ilm (BUI) is a comprehensive religious education program for Ismaili children and youth aged 4 to 13. Our program guides students in exploring Islam's ethics, thought, and culture, particularly within the Ismaili Tariqah, through a structured educational framework.
About the RoleAs a BUI Educator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experience of our students and fostering a thriving learning environment. You will have the opportunity to make a significant difference by shaping the educational journey of young learners, while growing professionally through access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
About YouWe welcome volunteers aged 16 and older to join BUI. Given that all BUI volunteers interact directly with minors, a Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) is required. Don't worry if you don't have prior experience with BUI—training will be provided, and you can still make a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure a supportive and nurturing environment for students.
- Assist in teaching the Ta'lim curriculum and enhancing the classroom experience.
- Help create a welcoming atmosphere and serve as a positive role model for students.
- Respect colleagues and support your co-teachers and the BUI Team.
- Contribute to BUI initiatives and leadership efforts.
- Actively foster a positive learning environment and engage with the community.
- Participate in development programs and create a growth plan to enhance teaching skills.
- Engage with mentors to discuss and advance your professional growth.
