Job Title: Truck Driver, Tractor-Trailer

Join Highlight Motor Freight Inc. as a skilled Truck Driver, responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations. This is a permanent position requiring a valid driver's license and a strong commitment to safety and security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring the safe transportation of goods and materials.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo during transportation.
  • Manage documentation, including accident or incident reports, bills of lading, driver logbooks, inspection reports, maintenance and repair reports, trans-border documentation, and trip reports.
Requirements:
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement and a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Experience with tractor-trailer operation and transportation logistics.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
