Job Title: Maintenance Technician

At Niagara Bottling, we're seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment, troubleshooting issues, and performing repairs to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues, using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
  • Perform repairs and replacements of equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve mechanical issues and ensure equipment uptime
  • Develop and implement best practices for maintenance and repair, aligned with Niagara's maintenance strategies
Requirements:
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a maintenance manufacturing environment
  • Experience in a leadership role, managing people and projects
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic
  • Skilled in the use of shop equipment, such as hydraulic and mechanical presses, bench grinder, drill press, mill, and lathe
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in a maintenance manufacturing environment
  • Experience working in a leadership role, managing people and projects
  • 4 years of experience in one of the following fields: blow molding, injection molding, packaging, or beverage
  • Skilled in fabrication capabilities, such as cutting and welding (mig, tig, or stick)
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics for process and instrumentation diagrams

Education:
  • Minimum Required: High School Diploma or GED
  • Preferred: Associate's Degree in manufacturing, manufacturing technology, mechatronics, industrial manufacturing, manufacturing automation, or other similar manufacturing-related specialization
