Purchasing Supervisor Job Description

GQ TECHNOLOGY TRADING INC is seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for purchasing general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchase equipment, materials, and services to meet the needs of our organization.
  • Develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased.
  • Negotiate offers from suppliers and consult with them to ensure the best possible deals.
  • Supervise staff and ensure they are trained to perform their duties effectively.
  • Review quotations and determine contract terms and conditions.
  • Award contracts to appropriate parties and establish delivery schedules.
  • Monitor progress of delivery schedules and contact clients and suppliers to resolve any issues.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure that our clients are satisfied with our products and services.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in purchasing or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fast-paced environment and ability to work under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Client focus and excellent interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:

The Purchasing Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Language:

The language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

The hours of work are 37.5 hours per week.
