Software Tester Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Software Tester to join our team at Software Aspekte. As a Software Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
  2. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify software functionality.
  3. Identify and report defects, documenting detailed information about the issues encountered.
  4. Verify fixes and retest to ensure issues are resolved.
  5. Maintain detailed records of test cases, test results, and defects.
  6. Communicate test progress and results to stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:
  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  3. Attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing.
  4. Proficiency in test management and bug tracking tools.
  5. Knowledge of various testing methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum.
Experience:
  1. A minimum duration of 6 months is mandatory.
  2. In case of no prior experience, you have the option to apply for an internship.
