Position Overview

Metro Inc. is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bakery Associate to join our team in Saint-Anne-de-La-Pérade. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our bakery department by preparing, arranging, and displaying a variety of fresh baked goods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and arrange an assortment of bakery products according to established standards, ensuring freshness and visual appeal.
  • Maintain optimal product rotation and adhere to market standards for quality control.
  • Bake, package, and display a range of breads and pastries, contributing to the overall presentation and variety of our offerings.
  • Strictly follow sanitation protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers efficiently and courteously with their bakery needs.
  • Process orders accurately and receive incoming goods, ensuring proper handling and storage.
  • Contribute to maintaining the store's overall appearance and cleanliness, creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to uphold high customer service standards and ensure a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

  • 0-6 months of experience in a similar role within a bakery or retail environment is preferred, but not required.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, and weekends, to meet the needs of our customers.
