Job Description for Hairstylist at Sonu Hair Cut

We are seeking a skilled and experienced hairstylist to join our team at Sonu Hair Cut. As a hairstylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients, including cutting, styling, and coloring their hair.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze hair and scalp conditions to determine the best course of treatment
  • Shampoo and condition hair to prepare it for styling
  • Supervise junior staff and ensure they are meeting our high standards
  • Apply hair treatments, including bleach, tints, and dyes
  • Clean and style wigs and hairpieces
  • Cut, trim, and style hair to meet client specifications
  • Suggest hairstyles that complement clients' physical features and preferences
  • Perform receptionist duties, including answering phones and handling client inquiries

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the hair care industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions:

  • 35 hours per week
  • Permanent position
  • English language required
