Lead Reserving Analysis and Drive Strategic Insights at Zurich Canada
Zurich Canada is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Reserving Actuary to join our Finance Actuarial team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping our reserving strategies and providing critical insights into risk management and financial performance.
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive reserving studies across various lines of business, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry best practices.
- Collaborate closely with business leaders to develop and implement effective reserving policies and procedures.
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, assess risks, and provide recommendations for mitigating potential financial impacts.
- Prepare clear and concise reports summarizing reserving results and key findings for senior management and stakeholders.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science or a related field OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including Associates Degree AND 8+ years of experience in Actuarial plus FCAS certification OR 13+ years of experience in Actuarial plus ACAS certification.
- Proven expertise in reserving methodologies and actuarial modeling techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams.
