About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Atelier Fabmec inc. as a Fabrication Specialist. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of metal fabrication and welding services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welding and Fabrication
    • Interpret welding process specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards
    • Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
    • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
  • Material Handling
    • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment to move materials and equipment
  • Quality Control
    • Inspect and test welds to ensure quality and accuracy
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Other trades certificate or diploma
    • Or equivalent experience
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience
