Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Integration Specialist to join our team at JSI. As a key member of our Engineering and Operations groups, you will be responsible for integrating multiple systems and technologies to ensure seamless functionality and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Integration Planning: Develop and document technical integration plans to ensure successful deployments and minimize downtime.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with Production and PMO teams to ensure all custom components are properly captured and applied to customer systems.
  • Issue Management: Manage the documentation and prioritization of technical issues to ensure timely resolution and minimize impact on operations.
  • Hardware and Software Installation: Install and configure hardware components, including servers, switches, storage appliances, and firewalls, as well as software solutions and third-party components.
  • Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Perform initial diagnostics and testing of hardware, software, and network issues to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Resource Utilization: Utilize resources to repair product issues that may be encountered during build and installations.
  • Reporting and Escalation: Report and escalate technical issues to the appropriate technical support team in a timely manner.
  • Client Focus: Maintain awareness of client needs and expectations when working at customer sites, providing timely solutions to build and sustain a positive rapport.
  • Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a high level of product knowledge and ability to explain complex concepts to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Update comprehensive trip report dashboards daily to facilitate the identification of problem areas and inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Excellent Documentation and Analytical Skills: Possess strong documentation and analytical skills to effectively manage technical integration plans and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Multi-Tasking and Adaptability: Ability to multi-task and quickly tackle new challenges as they occur, with a focus on adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Proven ability to analyze complex issues and determine technical requirements, with a focus on creative problem-solving and critical thinking.
  • Project Development and Management: Possess project development and management skills to effectively manage technical integration projects and ensure timely completion.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Above-average communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Travel and Security Clearance: Must be able to travel and possess a top-secret level security clearance.
  • Technical Experience: Established ability with Microsoft Operating Systems, Active Directory, Group Policies, and permissions in a distributed environment, as well as experience with Windows Operating Systems (W2K8/W2K12/W2K16/Win7/Win10), Linux OS (preferably CentOS), and VMware.
