Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials across the country, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as complete all necessary paperwork and documentation.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience as a truck driver is an asset.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, and a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Communication Systems: Experience with Citizens band (CB) radio, GPS, and other navigation equipment.
  • Transportation/Travel Experience: International, long-haul, national, provincial/territorial, and regional experience.
  • Security and Safety: Valid passport, basic security clearance, and a valid driver's license.
