Senior Accountant Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at Side Asset Management Ltd. to assist with our Real Estate and Rail divisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate financial accounting and reporting activities to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with established time frames and company standards.
  • Prepare reconciliations, entries, and year-end files for external review.
  • Provide support to the business unit for ad-hoc requests and financial analysis.
  • Review and ensure delegated work is timely, accurate, and delivered on schedule.
  • Perform cash management and reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other accounting analyses as requested.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
  • Exceptional data entry skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in various software programs, including Sage 50 and Microsoft Office.
  • A strategic mindset and ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
