We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at OpenRoad Auto Group. As a Licensed Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and prioritize repair orders from dispatch and perform work with efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Communicate effectively with parts department to obtain necessary parts and maintain accurate documentation.
- Examine vehicles to identify additional safety or service work requirements and advise Service Advisors accordingly.
- Supervise and mentor Apprentice Technicians as assigned by management.
- Attend factory-sponsored training classes and stay up-to-date on technical bulletins.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Assist in creating quotes for additional work required and provide exceptional customer service.
- Must be a fully licensed Technician with a valid Canadian driver's license.
- Working knowledge of automotive equipment and strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with the Service Department team.
- Ability to make sound decisions and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
