About the Role
We are partnering with a leading manufacturer of juice processing equipment to find an experienced Engineering Project Coordinator. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless project execution from initial order to final commissioning, encompassing production, assembly, delivery, installation, and ongoing support.
Your Responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively with diverse departments including sales, engineering, operations, manufacturing, and external vendors to guarantee timely project completion.
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and key milestones.
- Actively participate in scheduling discussions and factory loading strategies to optimize production workflows.
- Monitor project progress meticulously, identify potential risks and challenges, and implement proactive mitigation plans.
- Ensure all project objectives are met, adhering to stringent quality standards, delivery deadlines, and budgetary constraints.
- Provide insightful reporting on variances in standard production costs compared to budgeted expenses.
- Prepare concise KPI reports to track project performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are understood and expectations are managed effectively.
- Generate regular project status reports for management, providing transparent updates on progress and any significant developments.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, upholding ethical standards and best practices.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in project coordination, ideally within a technical or engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Collaborative mindset, capable of working seamlessly with design, production, and engineering teams to meet customer requirements.
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities in complex situations.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively, and meeting deadlines consistently.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software applications.
- Familiarity with the liquid foods market and fruit juice industry is a significant advantage.
- Knowledge of process equipment and refrigeration systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to identify potential issues or roadblocks proactively and develop innovative solutions.
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
