About the Role

As an Associate in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, you will provide essential financial guidance to clients. Your role will involve acting as a business partner, assisting clients in establishing effective financial processes that yield valuable insights for informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their business needs.
  • Guide the creation and execution of forecasting processes, utilizing innovative techniques and tools.
  • Prepare financial analyses and models to deliver insights, using clear business terminology and visualizations.
  • Identify areas for process improvement related to costing, risk management, and financial reporting.
  • Support the development of financial strategies by analyzing emerging trends and recommending solutions.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of financial activities and budget variances.
  • Formulate well-supported financial recommendations based on proactive analysis.
  • Contribute to the development and monitoring of financial performance indicators.

Qualifications:

  • An undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, or commerce.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in finance and business analysis.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and principles.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and French.
  • Proficiency in financial software and planning tools.
  • Ability to analyze information and summarize key findings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An MBA or professional designation (CA, CFA, CGA, CMA, CPA).
